JATROPHA AS A CROP:
Jatropha curcas is a viable biofuel crop with few limitations and many benefits:

Jatropha cycle
Germination of seeds is simple. Jatropha will start yielding the first year planted and will reach full yield at the third year.

Jatropha must be pruned the first three years to achieve maximum yield.

Jatropha beds must be weeded for maximum yield.

Drip irrigation is recommended for both water and fertigation.

Jatropha will freeze, but will come back if the ground does not freeze.
